Well-being in the workplace

The changing world of work and the fluctuating demands that it places on employers and employees means that our grasp of health and well-being imperatives can never stand still. It needs to constantly evolve to not only mitigate the impact on, but optimise, people’s health and well-being.

We believe that supporting and promoting employee well-being can deliver mutual value to the employee, the business and wider society. An effective workplace programme can be a win-win for employers – as well as boosting people’s health and well-being, it has the potential to enhance both employee and organisational performance.

We would like to invite you to join Dr Sarah Dunleavy, Research Advisor as she shares the CIPD perspective on creating a workplace with well-being at its heart. In this session we will explore the concept of well-being and how to effectively embed a well-being strategy within your organisation.

Shape the Future of the People Profession

The CIPD are creating a new definition of what it means to be a people professional, to ensure we continue to fulfil our purpose to champion better work and working lives as the world of work evolves. We started this programme of work two years ago by working with our members, the wider HR community and business leaders to set out the fundamental principles that can guide good practice in any context.

Join us as we take the next step on our journey – developing a Professional Standards Framework, which will clearly define professional standards for CIPD members and the wider people profession. You will have the chance to help shape the future of the profession, as we develop and refine the framework through a series of interactive discussions and debates.

The event will take place in Singapore, Hong Kong, and Malaysia and is free to attend. Whether you are a student representing the future of the profession, or you have years of experience to share: we’d love to hear from you.

Venue: Regus Conference Centre, 35/F, Central Plaza 18 Harbour Road, Wanchai, Hong Kong

Timings:
06.45pm - Welcome and registration
07.00pm - Presentation and interactive activity
09.30pm - Event closes / networking
